U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish Bread
Serves: 8-10 | Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients:

3-4 whole #uscatfish fillets

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
-
1/2 cup mayonnaise
-
1/4 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tbsp hot sauce
-
1.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
-
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-
1/4 cup diced green onions
-
1 large loaf of French bread
Directions:
- Prepare a large baking sheet with non-stick spray or parchment paper and preheat your oven to 350°.
- Lay your #USCatfish fillets on the tray and drizzle with olive oil. Season evenly with Cajun seasoning and bake for 20 minutes, or until fish is cooked through and flaky.
- Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine butter and mayo and whisk until smooth. Add in garlic powder, Worcestershire, hot sauce, cheeses, and green onions.
- When catfish is cooked through, remove from the oven, flake with a fork and add into the butter mixture; stir until combined.
- Slice your French bread in half lengthwise and lay on another large baking sheet. Spread the catfish mixture evenly onto each side of bread, and bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bread is toasty.
- Remove from oven, cut into pieces and serve.
